Fourth, gathering: other kids naturally orbit them in play. Fifth, asking why: they want to understand things, not just accept them.

How to grow them at home
Tie initiative to appreciation, not perfection: thank the attempt even when the result is a small mess. Give them real decisions to make: what is for dinner, which route do we take. And train listening by listening to them first, all the way to the end.
